"My son absolutely loves these gloves and so do I. They're warm and water resistant, yet still manage to maintain his dexterity unlike other winter gloves that tend to be too big and puffy. "

About Us
Sunny Concepts was founded by Cheryl Green when her three-year-old flat-out refused to wear mittens in the winter. Like many toddlers, her daughter valued her independence and wanted to keep exploring—even as the weather turned cold. Mittens compromised her newfound dexterity, and knit gloves quickly became soggy, grimy, and useless after trips to the park, digging for worms, or collecting leaves and branches. What she needed were gloves that were truly water-resistant, wind-proof, and built for real play.
What seemed like a simple search for toddler gloves turned out to be anything but. Many gloves claim to be designed for toddlers, yet most are far too big. It was puzzling that so many major brands marketed gloves for little kids that clearly hadn’t been properly fitted on them.
Unwilling to accept defeat, Cheryl turned to her background as a womenswear designer and set out to design gloves specifically for small hands. At Sunny Concepts, kids are consulted, listened to, and actually fitted—because comfort, function, and freedom of movement matter.
That’s when Sunny Concepts was born.
